Wow, wow, wow! This book was so good! Spoiler: There is a 20-year age gap.

It starts with Charlie going to her ex-boyfriend's dad's house, Emerson Grant, to get a rent deposit check after they split up. What she doesn't know is that he owns a sex club, and his colleague and friend often sends him women to act in a sub/dom relationship. He confuses Charlie with one of those girls and is so embarrassed by the misunderstanding. But they both recognize the spark that is felt during the encounter. Emerson offers Charlie a job to try to reconcile his relationship with his estranged son, despite her being his son's ex gf and despite the obvious chemistry they have. Throughout the extent of her job, they find themselves in a sub/dom, forbidden relationship. The spice in this book is TOO good! I love the scene where Charlie is doing a little 'get-back' with Madame Kink in the throne room! Ugh! Sara Cate did such a good job developing this story and I can't wait to read the other stories! I hope they all get happy endings just like Emerson and Charlie.
